This Privacy Policy explains how WeShare EduTech collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and applicable international laws.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, university, department.
- Content data: lessons, comments, claps, bookmarks.
- Usage data: page views, device info, IP address.
How we use it
- To provide and improve the service
- To send notifications you opted into
- To enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share with service providers (hosting, email delivery) under strict confidentiality.
Your rights (NDPR & GDPR)
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data by emailing privacy@weshareeduteach.name.ng.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are removed within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
Children
The platform is not intended for children under 13.
